$1,000 Towards Your Next Move
Official Sweepstakes Rules
Effective
Everyone has a next move.
Sometimes it is making a payment. Sometimes it is building emergency savings. Sometimes it is taking one meaningful step toward greater financial confidence.
At Rose Cove, we believe financial progress begins with knowing what is next.
$1K Towards Your Next Move sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) is our way of helping someone take that next step. Each quarter, one eligible Participant is selected by random drawing to receive up to $1,000 toward an Eligible Financial Goal.
Whether someone is selected or not, our goal is the same: every Participant should leave the experience feeling more informed, more confident, and more capable of moving forward than when they arrived.
Our Commitment
Rose Cove created this Promotion to encourage financial progress, not to promote unnecessary borrowing or reward spending.
Participation is free. No purchase is required. Applying for a financial product will not improve a Participant’s chances of being selected. Entering this Promotion is not an application for credit and does not affect eligibility for any Rose Cove or partner financial product or service.
We believe everyone deserves access to trustworthy information and an opportunity to move forward financially.
Before you participate:
- Participation is free.
- No purchase, payment, or application for credit is necessary to enter or win.
- A purchase, payment, or application for a financial product will not increase your chances of winning.
- Entering this Promotion is not an application for credit.
- Participation will not impact eligibility for any Rose Cove or partner financial product or service.
- Please read these Official Promotion Rules carefully. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Official Promotion Rules

2. Promotion Overview
Rose Cove will conduct the Promotion on a quarterly basis throughout the remainder of 2026 and 2027, or until further notice on the Promotion Page. For each Entry Period, Sponsor will randomly select one potential Selected Participant from all eligible Entries received during that Entry Period. The potential Selected Participant must complete verification before becoming a Verified Recipient.
The Prize is not cash on demand. The Prize is intended to support financial progress by helping a Verified Recipient move toward an Eligible Financial Goal (as defined below). Sponsor will determine the fulfillment method in its sole discretion, subject to these Rules and applicable law.
3. Entry Periods
The Promotion will operate in successive periods (each an “Entry Period”) (e.g. one per calendar quarter) as stated on the applicable Promotion Page. Each Entry Period will begin and end at the dates and times displayed on the applicable Promotion Page. All times are Eastern Time unless otherwise stated.
Entries received outside an Entry Period will not be eligible for that Entry Period. Entries do not carry over to future Entry Periods.
Sponsor may modify, pause, discontinue, or add future Entry Periods, provided that changes will apply only prospectively and will not materially alter the terms of an Entry Period already in progress, except as necessary to address fraud, technical issues, legal requirements, or circumstances beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control.
4. Eligibility
The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 21 years old at the time of entry.
Employees, officers, directors, contractors, and agents of Sponsor and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, technology vendors involved in the administration of the Promotion, and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to participate.
Sponsor may require proof of identity, age, residency, and eligibility before awarding any Prize. Participation is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
5. How to Participate
To participate, visit an authorized Promotion Page during an active Entry Period and complete the entry form (the “Entry Form”) as instructed. The Entry Form may ask Participants to share basic contact information and answer one or more questions about what they are working toward financially, including the prompt: “Tell us what’s next.”
A Participant does not need to apply for credit, use a Rose Cove service, submit financial account numbers, upload financial documentation, or purchase anything to enter. Financial documentation is requested only from a potential Selected Participant during winner verification.
Alternatively, a Participant may enter the Promotion during any active Entry Period by mailing a request for an Entry (a “Request” aka “alternative method of entry” aka “AMOE”) to the Sponsor at 1001 Post Road, Darien, CT 06820 , on a standard, unfolded, blank, lineless, legibly handwritten 4”x6” postcard with your full legal name, mailing address, email address, and your telephone number, along with the dates of the relevant Entry Period and a statement, “I wish to receive free entry in the $1,000 Towards Your Next Move Promotion” (a “Request Card”). Any Request Card received after the expiration of the Entry Period listed on the Request Card will be void.
Each submission of a completed Entry Form or Request timely received by Sponsor during an Entry Period will count as an “Entry” in the sweepstakes for the then-current Entry Period. Limit one base Entry per person per Entry Period. Sponsor may offer bonus Entry opportunities in a future phase. Any bonus Entry opportunities will be optional, free, clearly disclosed, and subject to the limits and requirements shown on the Promotion Page at the time offered.
6. Promotional Variations and Entry Pages
Sponsor may present the Promotion through different headlines, creative treatments, landing pages, marketing campaigns, partner placements, subdomains, or form variations. Unless Sponsor expressly states otherwise, all such variations refer to the same underlying Promotion and the same Entry Period drawing.
Submitting Entries through multiple Promotion Pages, devices, email addresses, identities, or form variations does not increase the base entry limit and may result in disqualification if Sponsor determines that the Participant attempted to manipulate the Promotion.
7. Eligible Financial Goals
An Eligible Financial Goal is a verifiable financial obligation, payment, expense, or savings objective that helps an individual move forward financially and is approved by Sponsor. The Promotion is designed to support progress, not hardship storytelling, product usage, or borrowing activity.
· Credit card payments
· Payday loans
· Personal loans
· Student loans
· Auto loans
· Mortgage payments
· Rent
· Medical bills
· Utility bills
· Tuition payments
· Childcare expenses
· Insurance premiums
· Home improvement financing
· Moving expenses
· Emergency savings contributions
· Other Sponsor-approved financial goals that are consistent with the purpose of the Promotion
Sponsor has sole discretion to determine whether a financial goal is eligible, whether documentation is sufficient, and whether the requested fulfillment method is administratively feasible. Sponsor will apply these determinations in a manner intended to be consistent, fair, and aligned with the purpose of the Promotion.
8. Ineligible Uses
The Prize may not be used for purposes that Sponsor determines are inconsistent with the Promotion, unlawful, unverifiable, speculative, or primarily recreational or luxury in nature. Examples of ineligible uses may include:
· Gambling, gaming, or wagering activity
· Cryptocurrency purchases or speculative trading
· Securities, investments, or investment accounts, except where approved by Sponsor as a permitted savings objective
· Illegal products, services, or activities
· Firearms, weapons, or restricted goods
· Alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, or controlled substances
· Luxury goods or discretionary purchases that do not reasonably support financial progress
· Business obligations, unless Sponsor expressly approves a small-business-related financial goal in writing
· Any purpose Sponsor determines, in its reasonable discretion, would create legal, compliance, reputational, or operational concerns
9. Prize and Winner Selection
Within five (5) days of the close of each Entry Period, Sponsor or its designee will conduct a random drawing from all eligible Entries received during that Entry Period. One potential Selected Participant will be chosen to win the Prize of up to $1,000 toward an Eligible Financial Goal. The random drawing and awarding of the prize(s) will be conducted under the supervision of the Sponsor whose decision is final and binding in all matters pertaining to this Promotion. Participants agree to be bound by the decisions of the Sponsor.
Odds of being selected depend on the number of eligible Entries received for the applicable Entry Period. All eligible base Entries have an equal chance of being selected, subject to any properly disclosed bonus Entry rules.
Sponsor’s records will be the official records for the Promotion. Sponsor may use a third-party tool, database export, or other reasonable method to conduct and document the drawing.
10. Notification and Verification
Sponsor will notify the potential Selected Participant within three (3) business days of the drawing using the email address, phone number, or other contact information provided in their Entry. Sponsor is not responsible for any changes to a Selected Participant’s email address or other information which may interfere with winner notification. The potential Selected Participant must respond within the time stated in the notification, or, if no time is stated, within seven (7) business days.
Before receiving any Prize, the potential Selected Participant must complete Sponsor’s verification process. Sponsor may require:
· Proof of identity, age, and residency
· A completed eligibility affidavit or declaration
· A liability release and publicity release, where lawful
· A completed IRS Form W-9 or other tax documentation, where required
· Documentation sufficient to verify the Eligible Financial Goal
· Any additional information reasonably necessary to administer the Promotion and fulfill the Prize
Sponsor will request financial documentation only from a potential Selected Participant. Participants should not submit sensitive financial documentation during the Entry process unless specifically instructed by Sponsor after selection.
If the potential Selected Participant does not respond, does not complete verification, submits incomplete or inaccurate information, is determined to be ineligible, declines the Prize, cannot participate in required promotional activities, or cannot identify an Eligible Financial Goal that Sponsor can reasonably verify and fulfill, Sponsor may disqualify that person and select an alternate potential Selected Participant by random drawing.
11. Documentation for an Eligible Financial Goal
Documentation must be recent, legible, and sufficient for Sponsor to verify the existence of the Eligible Financial Goal, the Selected Participant’s responsibility for or connection to the goal, and the requested amount. Sponsor does not require account numbers at the time of submitting any Entry and may request that sensitive information be masked where it is not needed for verification or payment.
Examples of acceptable documentation may include:
· A current bill, statement, invoice, or payment notice
· A rent ledger, lease, landlord statement, or property manager invoice
· A mortgage, auto loan, student loan, personal loan, payday loan, or credit card statement
· A medical bill or provider statement
· A utility bill
· A tuition, childcare, moving, or home improvement invoice
· Evidence of an emergency savings account or Sponsor-approved savings destination, if emergency savings is the selected Eligible Financial Goal
· Other documentation reasonably requested by Sponsor
Sponsor may reject documentation that appears altered, incomplete, stale, inconsistent, unverifiable, or insufficient. Sponsor may request additional documentation, a replacement Eligible Financial Goal, or an alternate fulfillment method.
12. Prize Fulfillment
The Prize is up to $1,000 toward one or more Eligible Financial Goals. The approximate retail value of the Prize will not exceed $1,000.
Sponsor determines the fulfillment method. Sponsor will make commercially reasonable efforts to remit payment directly to the verified provider, creditor, lender, loan servicer, landlord, merchant, financial institution, savings destination, or other approved recipient whenever reasonably practicable.
If direct payment is not reasonably practicable, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, use an alternate fulfillment method of equivalent value. Sponsor may also ask the Verified Recipient to identify another Eligible Financial Goal if the original goal cannot be verified or fulfilled.
If the first verified Eligible Financial Goal is less than $1,000, the Verified Recipient may request that the remaining Prize value be applied to another verified Eligible Financial Goal, subject to Sponsor approval, administrative feasibility, and any deadline stated by Sponsor. Any unused portion not verified or administratively completed within the applicable deadline may be forfeited.
The Prize is not transferable, assignable, or exchangeable except at Sponsor’s discretion. Sponsor will not be responsible for late fees, interest, penalties, provider processing delays, credit reporting outcomes, payment posting timelines, or consequences arising from a provider’s refusal, delay, or inability to accept payment.
13. Publicity and Participant Story
A core purpose of the Promotion is to celebrate financial progress and show that meaningful next steps are possible. Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the Prize requires reasonable participation in Rose Cove promotional activities.
By accepting the Prize, the Verified Recipient grants Sponsor the right to use the Verified Recipient’s name, city, state, likeness, voice, statements, story, approved images, and other approved content for advertising, publicity, social media, website, public relations, and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Sponsor will work with the Verified Recipient to accommodate reasonable privacy concerns and determine an appropriate storytelling format. Participation may include written statements, approved quotes, first name and location, photography, audio, video, or another format approved by Sponsor. Sponsor will not require unnecessary disclosure of sensitive financial details and may anonymize or limit certain details where appropriate.
If a potential Selected Participant is unwilling or unable to provide reasonable publicity participation in a format approved by Sponsor, Sponsor may disqualify that person and select an alternate potential Selected Participant, where permitted by law.
14. Relationship to Financial Products and Services
Entry into this Promotion is not an application for credit. Participation does not improve, reduce, or otherwise affect eligibility for any Rose Cove or partner financial product or service. No lending decision, prequalification decision, underwriting decision, pricing decision, product recommendation, or partner eligibility determination is based on whether a person enters, is selected, or receives a Prize in this Promotion.
No purchase, payment, account opening, financial product application, credit inquiry, or use of a Rose Cove or partner product is required to enter or be selected. Any financial products or services offered by Rose Cove or its partners are separate from this Promotion and are governed by their own terms, eligibility criteria, disclosures, and privacy practices.
Sponsor is not providing debt settlement, debt management, credit repair, legal advice, tax advice, investment advice, or individualized financial advice through the Promotion. The Promotion is a promotional drawing intended to support an Eligible Financial Goal, subject to these Official Promotion Rules.
15. Privacy and Data Use
Sponsor will collect and use information submitted in connection with the Promotion to administer the Promotion, communicate with Participants, verify eligibility, fulfill the Prize, prevent fraud, comply with law, and for other purposes described in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.
Sponsor may use non-sensitive entry responses, such as a Participant’s stated next move or general financial goal category, to improve Rose Cove content, products, customer experience, personalization, research, and marketing, subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Sensitive verification materials requested from a potential Selected Participant will be used to verify eligibility, validate the Eligible Financial Goal, fulfill the Prize, prevent fraud, maintain records, and comply with applicable law. Sponsor should collect only what is reasonably necessary for those purposes and may ask Participants to mask information that is not needed.
Consent to receive promotional communications is not required to enter or be selected. Participants may unsubscribe from promotional communications as described in the applicable message or Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. Transactional or administrative messages related to the Promotion may still be sent where permitted by law.
16. Taxes
The Verified Recipient is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and any other costs or expenses associated with acceptance and use of the Prize unless Sponsor expressly states otherwise in writing. Sponsor may issue an IRS Form 1099 or other tax reporting document where required by law.
Sponsor may require a completed IRS Form W-9 or other documentation before fulfilling the Prize. Sponsor does not provide tax advice. Participants should consult their own tax advisor regarding any tax consequences of accepting the Prize.
17. General Conditions
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, undelivered, lost, garbled, corrupted, or invalid Entries or mail; technical, hardware, software, internet, network, platform, email, or communications failures; or human, printing, typographical, administrative, or system errors.
Sponsor reserves the right to suspend, modify, cancel, or terminate the Promotion or any Entry Period if fraud, technical failures, administrative issues, legal requirements, security incidents, or other factors impair the integrity, fairness, administration, or proper functioning of the Promotion. If Sponsor cancels or terminates an Entry Period after it has begun, Sponsor may select a recipient from eligible, non-suspect Entries received before the action, if feasible and permitted by law.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who tampers with the entry process, uses bots or automated methods, submits false information, attempts to obtain multiple Entries through improper means, violates these Rules, acts in an abusive or disruptive manner, or undermines the integrity or purpose of the Promotion.
18. Limitation of Liability and Release
By participating, Participants agree, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, vendors, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, successors, and assigns from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of participation in the Promotion or acceptance, use, misuse, nonuse, or fulfillment of the Prize.
Sponsor does not guarantee that Prize fulfillment will reduce a balance by a particular amount after interest, fees, timing, provider policies, or other third-party actions. Sponsor is not responsible for any effect on credit reports, credit scores, account standing, late fees, account terms, or provider relationships.
19. Disputes and Governing Law
Except where prohibited by law, the Promotion and these Official Promotion Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Promotion will be resolved individually and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action, except where prohibited by law.
Any claim, judgment, or award will be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs associated with participating in the Promotion and will not include attorneys’ fees, punitive damages, incidental damages, consequential damages, or other indirect damages, except where prohibited by law.
20. Winner List
For the name of the Verified Recipient for an Entry Period, Participants may submit a request using the contact method listed on the Promotion Page or by writing to Sponsor at the address below, after the Prize has been awarded and verified. Sponsor may provide the first name, last initial, city, and state of the Verified Recipient, subject to applicable law and privacy considerations.
