Freelance Consumer Finance Writer

The role

Rose Cove is building the decision layer for consumer finance. We write toward the outcome a reader wants: getting out of debt, lowering a payment, borrowing money, using home equity, improving credit.

We built an AI-native content system that drafts outlines and blueprints. It runs on more than 100 prompts, switches between models, and changes as we test in market. It speeds up ideation and structure. It does not supply the point of view.

Our brand prompts carry the Rose Cove voice. Editorial needs its own, so we build a prompt around yours and sharpen it together. We are data obsessed, and we will work with you to find out what writing and authorship look like next.

What you would write

•      Outcome pages that take a reader from a goal to a decision and a next step

•      Method guides on how a strategy works, what it costs, and who it fits

•      Explainers on the behavior behind money decisions: anchoring, avoidance, loss aversion

•      Best-of and comparison pages, calculator copy, and glossary entries

What we are looking for

•      Published consumer finance writing, with links, and a point of view you can defend

•      Working command of SEO, including writing for AI search answers

•      Fluency in psychology and behavioral economics

•      Curiosity about AI-native workflows, and the judgment to spot output that is generic or wrong

•      Accuracy with rates, fees, and outcomes, and a clear sense of where regulated claims begin

How we work
